Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who aligns with our mission and is eager to contribute to the growth and development of GLN. The Program Coordinator will oversee our primary initiative - the language classes, which includes managing our Teaching Fellowship, internship program, and the logistical elements of our classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the language program, ensuring effective class scheduling, teacher coordination, customer service, and logistical support.
  • Manage the Teaching Fellowship, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing support for Teaching Fellows.
  • Administer GLN's Volunteer and Internship Program, focusing on recruitment, training, and management of volunteers and interns.
  • Act as a liaison for the GLN community, engaging with learners and supporters.
  • Handle incoming calls to the GLN office, addressing urgent matters as they arise.
  • Maintain partnerships with other organizations, coordinating logistics for class hosting.
  • Support the Executive Director and leadership team with daily operational tasks as needed.
  • Adapt work hours to accommodate volunteer schedules, including evenings when necessary.
  • Assist with Teacher Training sessions, typically held on Sundays throughout the year.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is $40,000, distributed as $3,000 per month for 11 months, with a final payment of $7,000 after the 12th month. We offer opportunities for raises, bonuses, and promotions based on performance and commitment.
