Job Description

As a Principal Clinical Specialist at Abbott, you will play a critical role in advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation. You will work under limited supervision, providing advanced engineering, sales, educational and technical support in response to complex field inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field sales staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on EP products and related technologies
  • Develop and lead training programs for healthcare professionals on EP products
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue sales opportunities
  • Conduct complex customer education events to sell the value proposition of the full ABT portfolio
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of clinical experience
  • Prior industry/competitive experience
  • IBHRE EP certification
  • Ability to perform complex EP cases solo
  • Ability to mentor and train EP CS roles and CA CS roles on complex mapping cases
