About the Team:

The Life Extension 2 team plays a crucial role within the FBM program, focusing on the advancement of the Next Generation System. This involves conceptual development, technology research, and maturation efforts to enhance the upcoming FBM Missile System.


As we expand our capabilities, we seek your expertise to implement innovative technologies while upholding the strategic deterrence requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
This role will manage the daily operations and upkeep of the FBM Missile Integration Lab (MIL). This unique electrical test facility is essential for conducting missile system electrical and functional evaluations.

As a Systems Integration and Test Engineering Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing staffing support and development
  • Managing test product readiness, including procedures, plans, and scripts
  • Providing daily direction to the test team
  • Creating detailed timelines and offering technical guidance for test execution
  • Conducting performance reviews and facilitating hiring processes
  • Contributing to program ATLO planning inputs
  • Assisting with GSE and Operations CAM duties
  • Recognizing and rewarding team achievements
  • Mentoring team members
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Experience in electrical testing, including the creation of detailed test plans, procedures, and scripts
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required
Desired Skills:
  • Strong leadership capabilities with excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and schedules
  • Familiarity with Automation Frameworks
  • Experience in spacecraft/GSE hardware integration, testing, and anomaly resolution
  • Proficient with Test and Measurement equipment and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with government clients
  • Willingness to work overtime, including off-shifts and weekends, in a 24/7 operational setting
Security Clearance Statement:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens for consideration.

Work Environment:
This role allows for part-time remote work, with specific scheduling discussed during the hiring process. Lockheed Martin offers various flexible work schedules, including condensed workweeks.

Compensation:

The annual salary range for this position in specific states is between $100,400 and $192,500, depending on various factors such as experience and education.
