Integration Engineer V

Location:
US - CA - Sunnyvale

Position Summary:
The primary role of an audio integration engineer involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, produce, and validate audio modules for smart glass technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop electroacoustic and auditory hardware systems tailored for smart glass.
  2. Translate high-level product experience requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  3. Integrate and assess advanced audio algorithms for real-time embedded systems.
  4. Create hardware and software testing systems and specifications for acoustic verification and perceptual validation.

Required Skills:
  • Experience with acoustic simulation and measurement tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of audio algorithm optimization and fine-tuning.
  • Familiarity with audio algorithms, including echo/feedback cancellation, adaptive beamforming, noise cancellation, and sound scene detection.
  • Understanding of electroacoustic transducers and systems.
  • Proficiency in MathWorks tools, specifically MATLAB and Simulink.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
