Candidate Profile:

We seek seasoned product managers who are enthusiastic about software, mobility, and creating exceptional customer experiences. As a System Integration Engineer, you will orchestrate scalable, secure, and safe mobility experiences. You should possess a continuous learning mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Embracing new technologies and methodologies is essential, as is a commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and prototype various electromechanical systems.
  2. Support and troubleshoot complex systems encompassing electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  3. Integrate hardware within vehicles using CAN and LIN interfaces.
  4. Diagnose and resolve vehicle system issues.
  5. Ensure optimal performance of hardware platforms with minimal downtime.
  6. Revise and release technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Enhance existing assembly processes for prototype components.
  8. Collaborate with the Arene Advanced Development group.
  9. Engage in multi-team projects focused on user-centric concept vehicles.
  10. Occasionally travel internationally to support product adoption initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience as a Systems or Hardware Engineer in consumer products or advanced automotive technology.
  2. Master's degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (strong Bachelor's candidates will be considered).
  3. Proficiency in CAD software.
  4. Experience with Python and Linux scripting.
  5. Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) and power systems.
  6. Ability to understand and debug electrical and software systems.
  7. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  8. Hands-on experience in manufacturing and integrating components across various platforms.
  9. Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
  10. Proven ability to take ownership and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  11. Demonstrated success in delivering technology products/services in high-growth, ambiguous settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in prototyping and 3D printing.
  2. Familiarity with machine shop practices and fabrication.
  3. Background in Consumer Electronics design.
  4. Software engineering experience.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $112,000 to $184,000 annually. This figure represents base salary, with additional short-term and long-term incentives, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Total compensation will be determined based on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
