Solar Repair Technician Lead

At Purelight Power, we're seeking a skilled Solar Repair Technician Lead to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you'll be responsible for leading a team in repairing and maintaining roof and ground-mounted solar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 1-3 technicians in repairing and maintaining solar systems
  • Install, repair, and maintain rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems
  • Manage and motivate a crew to ensure efficient and safe work practices
  • Accurately pull material based on construction plans
  • Test, commission, and troubleshoot system components
  • Read schematics and follow technical installation instructions
  • Upload required information to our work platform and CRM
  • Work in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Maintain a clean job site, work truck, and warehouse
  • Enforce safety policies and complete quarterly safety gear and tool audits
  • Report directly to the Senior Manager of Post Install with any job-related issues or employee issues
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a solar installer
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs repetitively
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs up to a 45-degree pitch
  • Insurance Approved driving record and driver's license required
Compensation:

$50-$60 hourly wage
