Solar Repair Technician Lead

The Solar Repair Technician Lead is a key role within Purelight Power, responsible for leading a team in the repair and maintenance of roof and ground-mounted solar systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and a commitment to ensuring the highest level of safety and quality in all work performed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of solar repair technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Post Install to develop and implement strategies for improving team performance and efficiency
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of team activities, including work schedules, material usage, and safety audits
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a solar installer
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs repetitively
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on roofs up to a 45-degree pitch
  • Insurance Approved driving record and driver's license required
Compensation:

$50-$60 hourly wage
