Procurement Analyst

In a dynamic educational environment, the Procurement Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing procurement operations. This position is essential for ensuring efficient sourcing and supplier contract management, directly impacting the financial health of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within their designated unit. This includes:
  • Managing the complete lifecycle of procure-to-pay processes and supplier contracts.
  • Directing requisition initiation, purchase order creation, contract determination, and invoice tracking.
  • Ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA) specific to the institution.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in procurement, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex invoicing and payment issues.
  • Analyzing procurement spending across various non-compensation categories and generating insightful reports.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 to 4 years of applicable professional experience.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and procurement processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for identifying errors and process improvements.
  • Capacity to adapt to evolving environments and learn new skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in procurement-related roles.

Work Environment

This position operates in a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $47,000 and $87,558. Compensation will be based on various factors, including qualifications and experience.
