The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in legal research and composition. This role involves conducting thorough research and drafting legal briefs primarily in the realms of consumer protection and product liability.

Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Associate – Appellate Advocacy and Brief Writing

  • Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, responses, appellate briefs, and other intricate legal documents.
  • Engaging in comprehensive legal research and formulating case strategies.
  • Assisting in the preparation for court hearings.
  • Presenting arguments for motions and appeals.
  • Demonstrating effective management of case files.
  • Collaborating effectively as a reliable team member.
  • Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications for the Litigation Associate – Appellate Advocacy and Brief Writing

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution, with 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and maintaining good standing.
  • Experience representing plaintiffs is preferred.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor, collegial attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
