Position Overview

This role is pivotal in managing a variety of intricate commercial disputes, encompassing areas such as antitrust, trade secrets, real estate, securities, contractual disagreements, breaches of fiduciary duty, and other business-related torts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Oversight: Oversee all phases of litigation from initiation to conclusion, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparations.
  • Legal Research: Execute thorough legal research and analysis on matters pertaining to antitrust, trade secrets, real estate, securities, and fiduciary breaches.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain effective communication with clients, providing legal counsel, updates on case developments, and strategic insights.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and prepare legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and briefs, ensuring timely filing with the appropriate courts.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate litigation strategies and collaborate with senior attorneys to implement effective plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with fellow attorneys, paralegals, and support personnel to guarantee efficient case management and superior client service.
  • Court Representation: Advocate for clients in court settings, including participation in hearings, arbitrations, and trials as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution.
  • Licensed to practice in the Texas state bar.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • In-depth knowledge and interest in complex commercial litigation, including antitrust, trade secrets, real estate, and securities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle a substantial caseload and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Empathetic approach to clients who have experienced injuries.
  • Proficient in legal research and document drafting tools.
  • Dedication to maintaining ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $310,000 to $390,000 annually.
