Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Commercial Litigation Counsel to join their expanding legal team.

Role Responsibilities:

The Commercial Litigation Counsel will assume key responsibilities in overseeing a variety of litigation cases. This role involves close collaboration with Partners on matters related to corporate disputes, financial institutions, employment law, and liability claims.

Document Drafting and Management:

Lead the preparation and oversight of essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery materials.

Ensure that all documentation is precise, comprehensive, and timely to meet case objectives.

Investigation and Case Preparation:

Conduct thorough investigations and evidence gathering to formulate effective case strategies.

Work alongside team members to compile detailed case files and prepare for legal proceedings.

Active Case Engagement:

Participate actively in case discussions, depositions, hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.

Contribute valuable insights to case strategy sessions to promote client interests.

Collaboration and Team Engagement:

Engage in firm-wide meetings, providing updates on case progress, personnel issues, and other pertinent topics.

Represent the firm at industry events and conferences, enhancing the firm's visibility and professional network.

Client and Case Oversight:

Maintain consistent communication with clients, offering updates and addressing any inquiries.

Manage multiple cases concurrently, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations.

Candidate Profile:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a robust background in business, financial institution, employment, and liability cases.

Proven ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage a high volume of work.

Excellent time management skills with a history of meeting deadlines and juggling multiple responsibilities.

Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of interacting professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

A positive demeanor with a proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.

A self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to embrace new challenges and responsibilities.
