Job Summary:

The Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve market position for Luby's Culinary Services. This role will work closely with senior leadership, clients, and field leadership to drive results and achieve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve market position.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships through cross-marketing efforts and partnership.
  • Lead the audit program for marketing/client relationships in all verticals.
  • Support new account openings, including press releases, internal marketing, signage, décor, and employee uniforms.
  • Maintain awareness of the overall service portfolio and promote services and products when appropriate.
  • Provide strategic insight on future business initiatives, market drivers, and competitor activities.
  • Work with organizational teams, peers, and field level leadership on leveraging the brand into locations/systems and co-branding opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to gather market and creative trends.
  • Identify opportunities for marketing campaigns to increase sales.
  • Manage all aspects of social media for the LCS brand.
  • Support new openings in a project management role alongside operations and clinical teams.
Requirements:
  • Positive, professional attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the assigned area of responsibility or market sector.
  • Travel will be 65% as this is a hands-on, site-based position.
  • Ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically, and accurately.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to establish credibility in relationships.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Excellent business judgement and ability to assess the reasonableness and likelihood of success of various business scenarios.
  • Ability to demonstrate and develop expert client relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, including financial and technical acumen.
  • Goal-oriented and able to work with individuals and teams to achieve a positive organizational outcome.
Essential Physical Job Functions:
  • Ability to perform manual data input for up to 50% of an 8-hour day on a regular basis.
  • Focused individual required to achieve success.
  • Ability to multi-task with good organizational and project skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
