At Operation ABLE, we empower adults aged 55+ to achieve economic empowerment through our Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP). As a key member of our team, you will drive SCSEP services in several New Hampshire counties.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Area Program Manager to guide program participants from intake and enrollment, thinking through employment goals, settling them in a community service site, and working with them for job placement. You will be responsible for outreach to community nonprofits, government agencies, employers, and potential program candidates, as well as offering support and case management duties.
Duties and Responsibilities- Guide program participants through the enrollment process, setting employment goals, and placing them in community service sites.
- Conduct outreach to local nonprofits, government agencies, employers, and potential program candidates.
- Provide support and case management services to program participants.
- Negotiate partnerships with community organizations to expand program opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and supervision.
- Familiarity with New Hampshire's workforce development system and employment services.
- Excellent digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
- A collaborative and professional approach to building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- The ability to travel frequently throughout the region.
This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel to local counties. You will need access to reliable transportation or other approved means of travel.
Salary Range$43,000 - $49,000 per annum, depending on experience.
