Operation ABLE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for adults 55 and older. Our Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP) sets up unique partnerships between disadvantaged older job seekers and local nonprofits or government agencies.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive SCSEP services in several New Hampshire counties. As the Area Program Manager, you will be responsible for guiding program participants from intake and enrollment to job placement. This includes outreach to community nonprofits, government agencies, employers, and potential program candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective case management strategies to support program participants
  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses and organizations to secure job placements
  • Provide vocational counseling and job development services to participants
  • Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with grant requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management and supervision
  • Familiarity with state workforce development systems and employment services
  • Strong digital skills, including Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
