H&M Retail Sales Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Advisor to join our team at H&M in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of store operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide best-in-class customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Drive sales by recognizing and executing selling opportunities, promoting campaigns, and offering purchasing suggestions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including fixtures, fitting rooms, and back-of-house areas.
  • Process and stock merchandise, including unloading delivery trucks, receiving, and unpacking merchandise.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, including ringing sales, reporting, and handling returns.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive working environment.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months of experience in customer service, preferred.
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and engage in repetitive motions.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to recognize and execute selling opportunities, and ability to work a flexible schedule.
