The Regional Safety Manager will be responsible for promoting a proactive safety culture within the organization, focusing on incident prevention and risk reduction. This role will ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead by example to promote a safety culture that prioritizes incident prevention and risk reduction.
* Collaborate with leadership to address health and safety concerns and observe workplace conditions.
* Analyze regional safety data to identify areas of high frequency and risk, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
* Review and investigate vehicle and employee injury-related incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
* Communicate with claims data gathering for corporate risk and safety.
* Partner with regional training to evaluate current and future training needs.
* Perform site safety audits to identify hazardous conditions, areas for improvement, and non-compliant equipment and processes.
* Develop and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injury.
* Assist in delivering training to employees to drive compliance with OSHA regulations and standards.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* General knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.
* Valid driver's license.
* Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
* Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2 years of experience managing others.
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
* Professional certification in safety management.
* Prior experience working in the transportation industry as a safety manager or consultant.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.
