Job Summary

Skanska is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for integrating environmental health and safety services into our business practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective EHS strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor EHS performance and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Collaborate with EHS staff, superintendents, project managers, and area/ regional EHS directors to ensure seamless EHS operations.
  • Provide training and support to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a role assigned to the identification of safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls.
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety role that required communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
