As a Manufacturing Process Specialist, you will deliver support and technical guidance on various challenges related to product quality, production workflows, and product failure analyses.

Conducts research on processes aligned with business unit objectives, focusing on areas such as cost efficiency, process enhancements, equipment utilization, quality assurance, cycle times, and repair development.

Responsible for the acquisition and setup of equipment.
Production Assistance

Offers daily production support for designated processes.
Documents procedures and work instructions.
Provides training related to processes for other support staff.

Process Management and Enhancement

Assesses, develops, and recommends strategies to fulfill production demands, enhance cost-effectiveness and quality, and minimize turnaround times for products and/or processes, supported by cost analysis.

Establishes, evaluates, and responds to performance metrics associated with processes.

Investigates and initiates corrective measures for issues and deficiencies related to equipment and processes to minimize variation and enhance reliability.

Repair Development and Execution

Identifies necessary actions to create new repairs based on engineering data.

Contributes to the planning and execution of repair trials to gather data for new repairs or to support existing ones.

Analyzes and documents the outcomes of repair trials.
Proposes, researches, and conducts cost-benefit analyses for new equipment acquisitions.

In collaboration with the Production engineering team, acts as a liaison to synchronize the efforts of Engineering and Operations during the implementation of new repairs and processes.

Coordinates and engages with external resources, including contractors, equipment suppliers, and service vendors for process support, enhancements, or repair development.

Provides support, technical expertise, and experience to the Design Approval Organization (DAO) essential for making airworthiness engineering decisions.
Responsible for adhering to all relevant safety protocols and promptly reporting any unsafe practices or conditions.
Undertakes special projects as assigned.

Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficient project management abilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace materials and processes.

In jurisdictions governed by a regulatory body or with an association that is subject to local legal requirements, registration is necessary.

A university degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in Manual or CNC Machining and Tool Design is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing process engineering setting.
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficient project management abilities.
