Position Overview:

The Repair and Maintenance Information Support Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our service repair processes. This position is vital for reducing long-term warranty repair expenses and improving customer uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across divisions and functions throughout the design, validation, and implementation phases of the Repair and Maintenance Information (RMI) program.
  • Engage with a global team to ensure successful program launches, including participation in workshops as necessary.
  • Utilize technical skills to effectively communicate complex topics within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Create and manage service and repair process instructions within the RMI platform using specialized software tools.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Repair Maintenance Information.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and procedural documentation.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition from Standard Repair Times (SRT) to Jobs Authoring.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment of repair times and procedures with product specifications.
  • Promote Agile and Program Management methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the trucking or automotive sector.
  • Strong motivation to learn and adapt to new software applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage dynamic projects with minimal supervision.
  • Interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical writing.
  • Willingness to learn Content Lifecycle Systems (CLS), Smartsheet, XML, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in business, engineering, or a related field.
