JOB OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute all tasks with a focus on quality, ensuring cleanliness and precision in all operations, while preparing surfaces and components for optimal results.
  • Thoroughly clean wireline, flowline, and winch parts and assemblies using pressure washing techniques to eliminate contaminants before blasting or painting.
  • Load components into the blast booth and perform blasting to remove all previous coatings down to the base metal.
  • Set up equipment and prepare the paint booth for spray painting, ensuring components are cleaned with appropriate solvents and masked where necessary for a superior finish.
  • Oversee the maintenance of Blast Booth equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure they are in excellent working order.
  • Manage the upkeep of the Paint Booth and painting tools, ensuring thorough cleaning of spraying equipment after each use and that all relevant PPE is maintained.
  • Collaborate with management to monitor and document the quantities of paint and blasting media utilized.
  • Adhere to QA procedures and departmental work instructions in all tasks.
  • Engage in training sessions as directed by the Service Manager and QHSE.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, practicing safe work habits.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in blasting and painting operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed and adhere to a standard schedule of 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
  • Ability to comprehend and implement instructions from NOV procedures.
  • Experience in operating pressure blasting equipment.
  • Familiarity with spray painting equipment and techniques.
  • Capability to operate cranes and forklifts as required.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Assembly Drawings/Procedures.
  • Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Flexibility to adapt and be cross-trained in various job functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in a factory setting with significant temperature variations.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push/pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily.
