Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team at Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. as an Account Executive - Financial Institutions. This role will be responsible for managing and directing a book of business, including servicing and solicitation activities, as well as leading a service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct a book of business, including servicing and solicitation activities.
  • Lead a service team and foster collaboration with cross-functional team members.
  • Develop and implement renewal strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Manage overall account responsibility for clients, including claims and loss control.
  • Handle market-facing responsibilities, including knowledge of the insurance industry, carriers, and major underwriting contacts.
  • Provide day-to-day account servicing or guidance to the account service team on more complex matters.
  • Perform monthly review of account currency and client statements, resolve outstanding payables in a timely fashion.
  • Attend industry events, carrier events, and stay up-to-date on industry trends for assigned sectors.
  • Serve as a technical expert in the office and assist and train less experienced service team members and employees.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and assistance for other offices around the country as needed.
  • Ensure the service team stays on task for their deliverables.
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Twelve (12) or more years related work experience.
  • Valid Insurance License.
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and direct an assigned service team and to foster collaboration with cross-functional team members.
  • Knowledge of broad business acumen to understand the client's business vis-a-vis insurance issues.
  • High degree of technical insurance knowledge and ability to provide guidance to clients.
  • Highly detailed and organized as well as superior prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
