About the Role

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Capability Owner to join our C2BMC team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Command and Control Systems capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with warfighters, acquisition staff, and contractors to understand current mission needs and emerging threats.
  • Develop and refine mission requirements into specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) capability statements.
  • Work closely with the C2BMC National Team, SETAs, FFRDCs, and UARCs to identify applicable technologies and innovative approaches.
  • Build consensus across stakeholders on how the C2BMC system will be utilized to accomplish the mission.
  • Identify key capability gaps and develop solutions to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Top Secret clearance required prior to starting.
  • Strong problem-solving, root cause, corrective action, and closure skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with software development and/or Agile Methodologies.
Desired Skills
  • Ability to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Ability to analyze data at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Ability to ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Ability to perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills in a team environment (verbal, written, and presentation).
