Mission Overview
We deliver field, range, testing, chemical, and biological laboratory assistance to the U.S. Army at a prominent testing facility. This site plays a crucial role in the assessment and evaluation of chemical and biological defense systems, along with incendiary and smoke/obscuration munitions systems, and related operational strategies.
Additionally, we extend our support to non-CB evaluations for the Department of Defense and other Federal entities, encompassing environmental assessments and munitions demilitarization.

Our operations have been in place since the establishment of the Field, Range, Chamber, and Laboratory Support Services contract, integrating with various engineering partners and maintaining a skilled workforce.

Position Overview

We are in search of a Field Technician to assist with our ongoing contracts. The ideal candidate will undertake the following responsibilities: securing test site areas, guiding visitors, relocating vehicles, and managing the setup and dismantling of test sites and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Securing test site areas as a road guard.
  • Guiding visitors to and from test locations.
  • Relocating vehicles as needed.
  • Managing the setup and dismantling of test sites and equipment.
  • Assisting with office furniture relocation.
  • Acquiring supplies from local vendors.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety at work sites.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Trained in vehicle operation and capable of handling necessary equipment, including aerosol sampling devices and test instruments.
  • Ability to lift and manage heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand or walk for extended periods.

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Essential Functions

Physical Demands:
Medium - Requires exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:
Primarily outdoor, with potential indoor tasks depending on the assignment. Indoor settings may include cubicles with considerations for space, noise levels, and lighting. Outdoor tasks may involve varying weather conditions.

Equipment and Tools:
Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and telecommunication devices, along with other necessary tools.

Attendance:
Regular working hours are typically Monday to Thursday. Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential to meet project deadlines. Flexibility in work hours may be required based on mission demands.

Additional Responsibilities:
Must maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Appropriate grooming and attire are expected for the role, ensuring no safety risks to oneself or others. A positive work environment must be upheld through professional behavior and communication. Independent transportation to work sites is necessary, and travel may be required to support various projects.
