Mission Statement
We provide comprehensive field, range, testing, chemical, and biological laboratory support to the U.S. Army at a key testing facility. This site is integral to the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, focusing on the assessment of chemical and biological defense systems, as well as related operational concepts.
In addition, we extend our support to non-CB testing for various federal agencies, including environmental assessments and munitions demilitarization.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Field Technician to support our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Securing test site areas (road guard duties).
  • Guiding visitors to and from testing locations.
  • Relocating vehicles as necessary.
  • Setting up and dismantling test sites and associated equipment.
  • Arranging office furniture as needed.
  • Acquiring supplies from local vendors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety at work sites.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Trained in vehicle operation and capable of using equipment such as aerosol sampling devices and test instrumentation.
  • Ability to lift and manage heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand or walk for extended periods.

Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements:
Medium - Requires exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:
Primarily outdoor, with tasks that may require indoor work depending on the assignment. Indoor settings may include cubicles with varying conditions. Outdoor work may involve exposure to diverse weather conditions. Must work effectively with colleagues and management at all levels.

Equipment and Machines:
Proficient in operating office equipment such as computers, printers, and telecommunication devices.

Attendance:
Regular hours are typically Monday-Thursday. Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential to meet operational deadlines.

Other Essential Functions:
Professional conduct is expected at all times when interacting with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and accurate communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required. Appropriate grooming and attire are necessary for the position. A positive work atmosphere must be maintained through professional behavior and communication. Independent transportation to the work site is required, and travel may be necessary to support projects.
