Mission Overview
We provide comprehensive field, range, testing, chemical, and biological laboratory support to the U.S. Army at a key testing facility. This site plays a crucial role in the evaluation of chemical and biological defense systems, as well as various munitions systems and related operational strategies.
In addition, we extend our support to non-CB testing for various federal agencies, including environmental assessments and munitions demilitarization.

Our operations were established to deliver exceptional support services through a collaborative effort with various engineering partners, employing a skilled workforce dedicated to excellence.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Field Technician to provide vital support for our operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities: securing test sites, guiding visitors, managing vehicle logistics, and setting up and dismantling test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Securing access to test sites.
  • Guiding visitors to and from designated areas.
  • Managing vehicle movements related to testing activities.
  • Setting up and dismantling test sites and associated equipment.
  • Assisting with office organization.
  • Acquiring necessary supplies from local vendors.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety at work sites.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Trained in vehicle operation and familiar with equipment such as sampling devices and test instruments.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand or walk for extended periods.

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements:
Medium – Capable of exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, or up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Work Environment:
Primarily outdoor work, with potential indoor tasks depending on specific duties. Indoor settings may include cubicles with varying noise levels and lighting. Outdoor conditions may vary, requiring adaptability to different climates. Collaboration with colleagues and management at all levels is essential.

Equipment and Tools:
Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and other necessary tools.

Attendance:
Regular working hours are expected, with flexibility required to meet mission demands.

Professional Conduct:
Must exhibit professionalism in all interactions and possess strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Appropriate grooming and attire are required to maintain a safe work environment. Independent transportation to work sites is necessary, and travel may be required to support various projects.
