Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database and IT Coordinator to join our team at Seneca Park Zoo Society. As a key member of our administration department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our day-to-day operations, ensuring data health and integrity, and focusing on our Salesforce operating platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily tasks to maintain Salesforce integrity and ensure accurate syncing and data health.
  • Monitor online transactions and perform data cleanup tasks on legacy data to enable historical reporting.
  • Assist in creating and testing Shopify products before they go live and assist the Finance Department in ensuring month-end reports are accurate.
  • Provide first-level support for Salesforce and assist with troubleshooting systems, including ticket scanning at events.
  • Assist with training and support for all SPZS staff and serve as a liaison for Salesforce when the Systems Manager is unavailable.
  • Monitor tickets with our managed IT service provider, Brite, and oversee the management of our VoIP phone system.
  • Manage technology asset tracking and monitor inventory, and be available to troubleshoot and find solutions to technology interruptions.
  • Assist with Zoo events as needed, including evening and weekend shifts.
Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field with a minimum of three years' experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of one year of experience with donor management software and Salesforce admin experience a plus.
  • Must be data-driven, have exceptional attention to detail, and be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including moderate Excel literacy.
  • Shopify and Marketing Cloud experience desired, and accuracy and speed essential.
  • Demonstrates strong data analysis ability, organization, dependability, and communication skills, and the ability to work well with team members and switch tasks as needed.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and procedures, as well as follow documented procedures, and work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time and some lifting under 40 pounds.
