Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a District Project Manager, you will:

  • Oversee assigned project orders to enhance value and improve financial outcomes for both Eaton and its clients.
  • Facilitate and lead order transition meetings with field sales, project coordinators, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Implement project management methodologies to support financial aspects and timelines of project orders.
  • Review project specifications, contracts, and order details prior to entry to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Manage technical modifications to the bill of materials.
  • Utilize centralized resources for the creation and review of documentation packages.
  • Provide technical assistance and follow up on warranty matters.
  • Represent sales during customer witness tests and inspections.
  • Ensure proactive communication of accurate information to and from customers.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Engineer to analyze project specifics before order entry.
  • Establish a communication protocol with customers and maintain a central repository for project files.
  • Coordinate with EatonCare and plants regarding submittals and reviews.
  • Document any changes and their fiscal impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with EESS on related services and resolve any issues with plants or customers.
  • Conclude projects from both a financial and documentation perspective.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the electrical industry.
- Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Electrical Engineering.
- PMP certification.
- Over five years of project management experience.

Skills:
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capability to present information persuasively and professionally.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize for superior project management.
