FULL TIME, PART TIME OR PRN. 8-hour shifts available.

Shift times include: 7a-3:30p, 3:00pm-11:30pm, and 11:00pm-7:30am.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A REGISTERED NURSE
Provide and coordinate care by evaluating patients' physical and behavioral health needs.

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients and their families regarding various health conditions.


Deliver nursing care and services in accordance with the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined by state regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate guidelines.

Ensure that physicians' orders are clearly understood if communicated verbally and transcribed correctly per policy and procedure.

Continuously assess patients' status and gather pertinent information for documentation.


Notify physicians of significant changes in patient status, including detox challenges, medical emergencies, and medication responses.


Ensure that initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and tailored to assessed needs.

Demonstrate knowledge and application of universal precautions in providing direct patient care.

Administer medications accurately as prescribed.

Document the accurate count of controlled substances administered as required.

Efficiently and accurately complete admission and discharge processes as directed.


Establish therapeutic rapport with patients by maintaining professional boundaries, respecting personal space, providing direct attention, and ensuring rational detachment.

Guide or coordinate unit activities as directed.

Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, colleagues, and others involved in patient care.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.

Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state regulations.

One or more years of nursing experience in the clinical area of service provided by the facility is preferred.

CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and provided by the facility).

First aid certification may be required based on state or facility regulations.
