Job Title: Healthcare Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Upholding the company's culture, values, and operational best practices in alignment with the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Ensuring financial agreements are established with patients to commence necessary dental treatments as per the dentist's recommendations.
  • Gaining expertise in the PDS system and tools to guide patients in making informed choices tailored to their individual needs.
  • Collaborating with clinicians to execute the HC Handoff for every examination patient.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on various financial options available to patients, ensuring alignment with their financial capabilities.
  • Addressing common patient inquiries professionally to facilitate the initiation of treatment.
  • Obtaining required insurance pre-authorizations for patients prior to treatment when necessary.
  • Promoting the Comprehensive Care Model through both internal and external referrals.
  • Engaging actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other mandatory gatherings.
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of business objectives and the impact of this role on performance metrics.
  • Upholding the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with the brand's framework.
  • Developing knowledge of the Mouth-Body Connection to support clinical excellence through thorough patient care.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company standards at all times.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Willingness to travel between office locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in dentistry, insurance, or business through coursework or training.

  • Familiarity with office operations, technology applications, and patient insurance processes.
  • Results-driven individual with a proactive approach to goal setting and commitment fulfillment.
