Job Description

Freese and Nichols is seeking a highly skilled BIM/CAD Design Professional to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Design and Development: Prepare detailed and layout drawings and sketches of complex designs, utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D and other design software.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced technical skills to perform discipline design tasks, including the application of fundamental engineering concepts and company best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage with team members, clients, and stakeholders in a professional, responsive, and collaborative manner, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control on deliverables, incorporating Continuous Improvement into work processes and developing new processes as required to ensure consistent quality.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in engineering design and technical support.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in engineering design and technical support, with advanced expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D and other design software.
  • Skills: Proven ability to learn, adapt, and problem-solve to produce accurate and quality deliverables, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate degree in CAD or related field.
Compensation and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is $70,400 - $103,083, with opportunities for overtime pay, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, prescription drug coverage, dental insurance, vision insurance, and more.
