- Design Expertise: Prepare detailed drawings and sketches for complex designs, applying engineering knowledge and theoretical concepts.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize company best practices to manage drawing files according to industry standards. Act as a liaison between CAD managers and regional users, ensuring implementation of new technologies and policies.
- Collaborative Approach: Engage with team members professionally and collaboratively. Provide conceptual input during project planning stages.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Delegate tasks to Designers and Technicians, coordinate design efforts across disciplines, and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement new processes for consistent quality, perform quality control on deliverables, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in engineering design and technical support.
- Advanced expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, including alignments, pipe networks, surfaces, and data management.
- Proven ability to learn, adapt, and problem-solve to produce accurate and high-quality deliverables. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with all levels of personnel.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in CAD.
