  • Design Expertise: Prepare detailed drawings and sketches for complex designs, applying engineering knowledge and theoretical concepts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize company best practices to manage drawing files according to industry standards. Act as a liaison between CAD managers and regional users, ensuring implementation of new technologies and policies.
  • Collaborative Approach: Engage with team members professionally and collaboratively. Provide conceptual input during project planning stages.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Delegate tasks to Designers and Technicians, coordinate design efforts across disciplines, and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement new processes for consistent quality, perform quality control on deliverables, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in engineering design and technical support.
  • Advanced expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, including alignments, pipe networks, surfaces, and data management.
  • Proven ability to learn, adapt, and problem-solve to produce accurate and high-quality deliverables. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with all levels of personnel.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in CAD.
