The Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Director who will oversee the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of our facilities, grounds, and infrastructure. As part of our team, you will provide strategic leadership to the maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping teams, ensuring seamless operations and high standards of service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing maintenance team and facility repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and committees to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Hiring, supervising, training, and evaluating facilities staff members.
  • Developing and managing department and capital budgets and financial management for facilities and capital projects.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years as Chief Engineer or Director of Maintenance.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and supervising teams, with a focus on performance evaluations, task delegation, and coaching facilities employees.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in operating light and heavy machinery, including forklifts, tractors, and garden equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—both verbal and written—with excellent time management and active listening capabilities.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000-$100,000 (exempt position), along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
