Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Abatement Specialist to join our team at CMTS LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining open communication with central and regional departments to provide technical support related to asbestos and lead issues.

The ideal candidate will have five years of full-time paid professional construction experience on projects involving environmental assessment, sampling, design, monitoring, and abatement. Alternatively, two years of experience plus a Certification from the State of CA as Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) or Certification from the State of CA as Certified Asbestos Consultant may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining open communication with central and regional departments in Facilities to provide technical support related to asbestos and lead issues.
  • Preparing site assessments and abatement designs to address the impact of asbestos and lead-containing materials on construction projects.
  • Reviewing environmental consultants' reports for accuracy.
  • Surveys sites to recommend the best method to mitigate the abatement of asbestos and lead containing building materials.

Salary: $102,000 - $106,000 per year.

Bonus Pay: A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals.
