Position: Corporate Communications Specialist Level 5

Role Summary

The Program Control Office manages corporate business and technology initiatives related to Foundation GEOINT (FG), focusing on aeronautical, maritime, geography, and geomatics missions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating strategic workforce planning.
  • Executing corporate communications strategies for SF.
  • Monitoring manpower and career service needs.
  • Coordinating new technological capabilities and requirements.
  • Leading enterprise data management efforts for SF.
  • Establishing and disseminating data and product standards for FG.
  • Overseeing space, IT systems, devices, and software.
  • Providing senior-level staff support.
  • Managing taskers and awards.

Advise NGA and its subordinate organizations on strategic messaging that aligns with mission priorities, goals, and achievements. Ensure that the strategic message is clearly defined, developed, and coordinated with relevant stakeholders. Communicate these strategic messages to key leadership within the agency and to essential partners in the DoD and the Intelligence Community. Produce official publications and memoranda for both internal and external audiences. Translate technology or applications into comprehensive technical design and reporting documentation. Collaborate with developers and managers to clarify technical issues. Write, edit, and present information across various formats and applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in providing strategic communications support, technical writing, and crafting technical specifications is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a strategic communications and marketing plan for SF.
  • Create a program to familiarize internal and external customers with SF's capabilities and services.
  • Analyze communications metrics and data to guide strategic communications decisions.
  • Coordinate and manage VIP requirements with other agency organizations and internal SF offices.
  • Organize and manage SF office briefings for NGA Director's Operations Intelligence updates.
  • Review briefings for message consistency.
  • Schedule and facilitate executive-level meetings.
  • Plan, design, standardize, and oversee the delivery of Group communications and marketing initiatives that support business processes.
  • Advise SF and its subordinate offices on strategic messaging related to mission priorities, goals, and accomplishments.
  • Communicate strategic messages to key leadership and partners within the agency and the Intelligence Community.

Required Qualifications

  • Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Proven experience in assessing communications metrics to support executive-level strategic communications decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in executing strategic communications tasks.
  • Experience with electronic publishing and the publication production process.
  • Ability to present oral and written communications to diverse audiences effectively.
  • Experience in providing strategic-level decisions within a team environment.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in customer service and support.
  • Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community.
