Job Title: Rocket Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Rocket Systems Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing fluid systems for rockets. Your primary focus will be on the design, development, and testing of complex thermal fluid subsystems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems meet our safety and performance standards.

About the Role:
This role requires a strong foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, and fluid mechanics. You will use your knowledge and skills to analyze and optimize fluid system designs, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and effective. You will also be responsible for conducting trade studies for future GS2 fluid system upgrades and supporting the implementation of upgrades throughout their life cycle.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct trade studies for future GS2 fluid system upgrades
- Design, model, and analyze complex thermal fluid subsystems
- Push upgrades hardware through manufacturing and testing on schedule and within budget
- Support implementation of upgrades throughout their life cycle

Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering
- Excellent GPA
- Demonstrated experience with CAD and engineering drawings
- Strong application of first principles thermodynamics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, and fluid mechanics
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $75,510-$105,714 per year.
