Electrical Engineer for Space Systems

We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems. This role is part of New Shepard, a suborbital rocket system designed to take astronauts and research payloads past the Karman line.
Key Responsibilities:This position involves leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver Avionics hardware systems. You will design, develop, and verify high-performance avionics' hardware for various flight vehicles.
You will be integrated with our rocket program and technical leads to drive requirements definition, modeling, analysis, design, test, and production release of on-vehicle launch, flight, and power management components and sub-systems.
Your responsibilities will encompass electronic requirements, architecture concepts, detailed design, development, and test. You will follow avionics designs through formal verification, environmental qualification, release, and participate in flight support activities.
Requirements:- High-speed digital, analog, and/or mixed-signal circuit design, build, and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of EE principles
- Circuit analysis and simulation, such as worst-case circuit analysis, signal integrity analysis, and logic or P-Spice simulation
- Experience in grounding and general board layout principles, including EMI/EMC tradeoffs
- Computer command and I/O control for sophisticated industrial systems or vehicles
- Design of Data Acquisition Systems and familiarity with a variety of sensor technologies
