Position Overview:

As a vital member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all relevant cybersecurity policies, plans, and procedures. Your role will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and validating necessary cybersecurity controls, including ongoing monitoring for assigned systems.
  • Assisting in the development and upkeep of cybersecurity-related plans, procedures, and guidance.
  • Identifying and reporting non-compliance, suspicious activities, and potential threats to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Establishing plans of action and milestones for addressing vulnerabilities discovered during monitoring, audits, and inspections.
  • Conducting cybersecurity training tailored to specific roles within the organization.
  • Gathering and maintaining data to fulfill reporting obligations.
  • Analyzing and correlating data from various sources to detect and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Investigating and responding to cyber incidents and compliance issues, including conducting trend analysis and preparing detailed reports.
Work Environment:

This position operates on a 24/7 schedule, requiring flexibility and commitment to operational support.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Final Transferable Secret security clearance, with the last Periodic Reinvestigation completed within the last five years or enrollment in the Continuous Vetting program.
  • Maintaining industry certification in line with DOD M and DODD for IAT Level II.
  • Holding at least one security-specific industry certification for Computing Environment (e.g., CYSA+, CCNA Security, CEH, CISA) as per DOD M and DODD requirements.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in roles such as ISSO, ISSM, or related positions within the DoD Cyber Workforce.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to DoD cybersecurity and SAPs.
  • Knowledge of the system authorization process and related documentation requirements.
Security Clearance Statement:

This role necessitates a government security clearance, and candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.
