About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fraud and Disputes Specialist at First National Bank of Omaha. As a key member of our 24/7 department, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers from financial crimes and ensuring their transactions are secure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze potential fraud and dispute cases, using critical thinking and logic to distinguish between legitimate and suspicious transactions.
  • Make outbound contact with customers to gather information and resolve disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and maintain accurate and detailed case files, adhering to department standards of quality and productivity.
  • Work independently with customers to answer questions and provide information regarding their disputed transactions.
  • Ensure proper verification practices are followed to validate caller identity and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide guidance and support as needed, and adhere to FNBO's attendance guidelines by having regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • 12 months of direct customer service experience.
  • Desirable: Call center experience, previous experience in a remote working environment, and previous experience in fraud operations.
