We are proud to partner with Options for Supported Housing to find a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead their organization.
Job SummaryThe Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization, ensuring the successful implementation of programs and services, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the organization's mission and goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to the senior management team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain a working knowledge of industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making.
- Program Development and Management
- Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Financial Management
- Oversee the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the effective use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
- Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the organization's mission and services.
- Collaborate with other organizations to identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing.
- Human Resources and Talent Development
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and development of staff, ensuring a skilled and diverse workforce.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, public administration, or social work.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or social enterprise organization.
- Skills and Requirements
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
The projected compensation for this position is $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 based on experience. Compensation is supplemented by a benefits package including Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, 401K, and a flexible benefit for health insurance of up to 20% of salary based on needs.
