Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000

We are seeking highly skilled professionals in Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, HVAC, Fire Sprinkler, and Electrical disciplines. Candidates must possess substantial experience in vendor management. Role Purpose: The Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing comprehensive maintenance operations. This role involves directing personnel in maintaining the assigned Distribution Centers (DCs) and managing projects to ensure the facilities operate smoothly. The manager will oversee daily activities of maintenance staff and ensure the upkeep of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and ammonia systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all start-up projects for DCs over the next three years, requiring extensive travel.
  • Conduct inspections at each DC to assess conditions, diagnose issues, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Plan and schedule routine maintenance while establishing work priorities.
  • Manage a team of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance workers across the nation.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and completeness.
  • Ensure accountability for vendor performance and task completion.
  • Support production staff, safety teams, and other employees in achieving operational goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Availability for on-call duties 24/7; a cell phone and laptop will be provided.
  • Proficient in maintenance and repair, including ammonia systems, warehouse operations, and contractor management.
  • Preferred: 2 years of technical education and 3 years of relevant field experience.
  • Minimum of three years as a Regional Maintenance Manager; General Manager experience is a plus.
  • Able to identify electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues or equipment failures.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for vendor interactions.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Power Generators is required.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through capabilities.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.

Reasoning Skills:

  • Ability to interact effectively with all management levels and lead a diverse workforce.
  • Capable of making independent decisions as necessary.
  • Skilled in problem-solving without direct guidance.
  • Adept at analyzing logical relationships between conclusions and supporting evidence.
  • Ability to draw conclusions based on facts.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent walking and climbing stairs are required.
