Surgical Tech Lead FT Days Position

As a Surgical Tech Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. You will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, coordinating scheduling and efforts of Surgical Techs, and maintaining a sterile environment. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in providing intra-operative support and assisting the surgical team.

We're looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills. If you have a Certification as a Surgical Tech and/or acquired Certification completion within 6 months, and two years of hospital surgical experience or formal training program, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and mentor staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Coordinate scheduling and efforts of Surgical Techs to optimize operating room efficiency
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
  • Assist the surgical team with intra-operative support and instrumentation
  • Participate in department performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Surgical Tech, or acquired Certification completion within 6 months
  • Two years of hospital surgical experience or formal training program
  • Knowledge and experience in operative procedures, equipment, and instrumentation
