Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to regional service teams, including remote and onsite support.
- Partner with the Global Technical Service team and other departments to bring in service-related requirements and sustain support throughout the system's life cycle.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated problem-solving documentation, validating service documentation and software.
- Nurture and develop positive working relationships with Field Service Engineers, Applications, and other Global Technical Support groups.
- Work in compliance with legislation and IMS.
Requirements:
- BA degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or a related subject area or comparable training.
- Typically requires 5-10 years' experience with service and/or manufacturing in a high-tech industry or laboratory.
- Comfortable working with LDB - SEM/SDB.
- All-round technical knowledge and practical skills in multidisciplinary trouble shooting.
- Experience with analytical equipment, such as Electron Microscopes, Wafer Steppers, and Medical Equipment.
- Typically requires a University degree in Applied Physics, Electronics, or Electro-Mechanics.
- Proven track record as a self-starter who is also highly productive when not supervised.
- Domestic and International Travel (30% of working time following initial training period).
- Proficient in English (verbal and in writing).
