Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to assist in the daily operations of our HR department and contribute to various organizational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the HR team in managing employee relations and organizational development.
- Utilize strong organizational and planning skills to address competing priorities effectively.
- Engage in creative problem-solving while demonstrating compassion and a commitment to the success of others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adapt to various databases; experience with Workable and Paylocity is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Familiarity with business correspondence, report writing, and basic business mathematics.
- Leadership and coaching abilities, along with resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills; experience with adults with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
- Ability to meet physical job requirements and pass necessary background checks.
- Valid DMV driver's license and clean driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain them.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humor are beneficial.
