Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to assist in the daily operations of our HR department and contribute to various organizational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR team in managing employee relations and organizational development.
  • Utilize strong organizational and planning skills to address competing priorities effectively.
  • Engage in creative problem-solving while demonstrating compassion and a commitment to the success of others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adapt to various databases; experience with Workable and Paylocity is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with business correspondence, report writing, and basic business mathematics.
  • Leadership and coaching abilities, along with resourceful problem-solving skills.
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills; experience with adults with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements and pass necessary background checks.
  • Valid DMV driver's license and clean driving record.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain them.
  • A positive attitude and a good sense of humor are beneficial.
