At Intuit, we're on a mission to power prosperity for the people and communities we serve. As a Senior UX Researcher, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal by driving customer-centric decision-making across our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the insights partner for product teams, ensuring decisions are customer-driven and data-backed.
  • Connect the dots across initiatives to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Partner with data teams to bring in external data and develop a strong holistic POV.
  • Independently identify the right problem-solving approach and guide teams in reframing questions and assumptions.
  • Apply a wide range of methodologies to answer strategic questions and inform learning.
  • Clearly articulate methodology recommendations and best practices to educate product teams.
  • Adapt to the flow of discussion and pivot off-script to follow relevant threads.
  • Manage difficult participants and leverage stimulus or participatory activities to gain a deeper understanding of customer motivations and needs.
  • Balance bottoms-up with top-down analysis to identify emerging key themes backed by data.
  • Show good intuition on what matters and what doesn't.
  • Synthesize multiple sources of data into meaningful strategic insights and basic frameworks.
  • Tell a clear, well-organized story of the research that brings insights to life.
  • Visualize key findings and frameworks to simplify complex ideas.
  • Provide clear implications, recommendations, and/or provocations to elicit action and inspire ideation.

What You'll Need

  • 5-8 years of industry experience with a proven track record of working across functions and levels.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in the cognitive or social science space, anthropology, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • Experience with research design utilizing various methods, including discovery, usability, contextual inquiry, surveys, and more.
  • Relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, 0-1, or generative setting.
  • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods.
  • Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners.

What We Offer

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $148,000 - $200,000, depending on location. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs.
