Job Title: Vice President of Global Operations

Skylight is a technology startup based out of Los Angeles and San Francisco, dedicated to making technology that brings families together. Our mission is to create innovative solutions that enhance the way people connect and share experiences.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Vice President of Global Operations. This individual will be responsible for owning our supply chain and inventory operation end-to-end, driving growth and efficiency across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global manufacturing and inventory strategy to meet customer demands and drive business growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the success of our global operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of our global operations strategy.
  • Oversee international supply chain, production, and quality control to meet our customers' high standards.
  • Implement automation tools, systems, and processes to drive efficiency and scalability in our global operations.
Requirements:
  • 5-10+ years of direct responsibility for full-stack inventory operations, including supply chain, inbound logistics, and customer fulfillment.
  • Experience working at an early to mid-stage startup that sold physical consumer products globally.
  • Experience selling through D2C ecommerce, Amazon, and big box retail.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and scale operations teams from scratch.
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action, able to make decisions with imperfect information and pivot quickly as conditions change.
