Job SummaryPrideStaff is seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for running the daily functions of the HR department, including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, safety compliance, documentation and compliance, employee relations, and general HR support functions.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and track compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Develop and implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs.
  • Oversee disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, and performance and talent management.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
  • Manage the equipment ordering, distribution and usage of company tools and equipment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of human resource experience required.
  • 1 year of human resources management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
