**Senior Cloud Financial Operations Engineer**

As a **Senior Cloud Financial Operations Engineer** within our **Data Engineering** division, you will have the opportunity to contribute to significant advancements in data management and analytics.

**Key Responsibilities**

In this pivotal role, we seek individuals who are enthusiastic about the transformative power of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including business stakeholders, architects, and application specialists, to drive quality, stability, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Formulating and executing cost management strategies for both cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
  • Monitoring financial performance to uncover cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Creating and sustaining financial models for cost forecasting and reporting, applying cloud financial management principles to on-premises systems.
  • Ensuring smooth integration between cloud solutions and on-premises technologies.
  • Designing and maintaining hybrid cloud architectures that align with business objectives.

**Qualifications**

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional IT experience, including at least 3 years in a FinOps or cloud financial management leadership role.
  • A solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and traditional IT infrastructures.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, cost analysis, and budget oversight.
  • Experience with cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • A degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Relevant certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
