Position Summary:

Our Neoverse cores are at the forefront of a technological transformation, and we are seeking a Senior Platform Validation Engineer to collaborate with Arm Central Engineering partners to meet the increasing demand for Neoverse cores in Cloud and Datacenter environments.

As an individual contributor, you will engage with both internal and external partners to facilitate and enhance the Arm Infrastructure hardware-software ecosystem. Your contributions will span across Cloud, Edge, 5G, and Networking sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and enable system-level stress workloads on Linux for various Arm-based Infrastructure devices.
  • Establish and refine processes to package, maintain, and deploy validation test suites for qualifying OCP reference platforms.
  • Work closely with the post-silicon validation team to assist in debugging and testing efforts on both validation and reference platforms.
  • Identify and resolve hardware issues during the bring-up phase.
  • Create and execute tests according to the established test plan for hardware components.
  • Oversee the scalability and deployment of production firmware, validation operating systems, and test suites for device screening processes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Firmware Engineer, Hardware Test Engineer, or in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with hardware testing methodologies and tools, as well as bring-up and debugging processes.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Understanding of the Arm SystemReady certification program.
  • Experience with Arm system architecture specifications, including Base System Architecture (BSA), Server Base System Architecture (SBSA), and Server Base Manageability Requirements (SBMR).
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as UEFI, DMTF, OCP, OPI, CXL, and UCIe.
  • Experience with the installation and debugging of Linux and/or Windows operating systems for Cloud and Datacenter solutions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with Cloud and Datacenter infrastructure and software solutions.
