Job Summary

The Construction Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the onsite execution of project plans in collaboration with the Project Manager. This role involves daily reporting on all phases of construction and the implementation of automated material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 100% travel to project sites is required.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and local/state regulations.
  • Hold all project team members accountable for maintaining safety standards on site.
  • Engage in daily communication with clients to foster a safe and collaborative work environment.
  • Plan, direct, and oversee the execution of tasks in alignment with the project timeline.
  • Document daily project status updates for the Project Manager, highlighting any potential risks to schedule, scope, or budget.
  • Facilitate daily onsite coordination meetings with site leads to address safety and site management among trades.
  • Receive, inventory, and meticulously document all project-related shipments.
  • Coordinate the staging of materials and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the material handling sector, particularly within distribution centers and warehouse automation; construction experience is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications include Forklift, Scissor Lift, and OSHA 10.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets up to $10 million.
  • Knowledge of materials handling systems, fulfillment or distribution center operations, and supply chain logistics.
  • Basic understanding of project management processes.
  • Ability to effectively manage installation schedules with a team of 15+ subcontractors.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and extended hours as project demands dictate.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, Excel, Email, Video Conferencing, and Inventory Management Systems.
