Overview:
The Project Engineer specializing in Post-Tensioning and Structural Rehabilitation is tasked with overseeing projects related to buildings and bridges. This role involves preparing engineering submissions and providing technical assistance to field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering calculations and detailed drawings for post-tensioning and reinforcement applications, including the repair and enhancement of structures such as buildings and bridges. Familiarity with carbon fiber reinforced polymer systems is advantageous.
- Supervise and guide detailers in creating shop drawings for designated projects.
- Engage in product innovation, testing, and certification initiatives.
- Offer technical guidance to project managers and field operations personnel.
- Coordinate with contractors and design engineering firms as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering is required.
- A Master's degree is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience in the Construction sector.
- Solid understanding of civil and structural engineering principles.
- Familiarity with relevant codes such as ACI, PTI, PCI, AASHTO, and AISC is essential.
- Experience in post-tensioning and proficiency in structural analysis and CAD software is required.
